Just presented at ACTFL conference 2013!

I am proud to have presented on my favorite topic of personalized learning through the use of tech tools (apps) in the World Languages classroom and within global projects.

      Yes, it definitely worked. The difficult part (which sometimes is out of my control at conferences) is the accessibility to wifi. At my school and in my classrooms, wifi is reliable, so I never have a problem with participants seeing the presentation on their personal devices. I love that it works across all platforms. My students especially like the "draw it" feature; I frequently ask them to illustrate a sentence in Spanish that they have written. Their illustrations bring the contextual meaning to life!
